Two years ago today

Today’s Facebook Post

“Two years ago today my sister sent me this double rainbow. I was heading to hospital for surgery the following day. Surgery was successful and a tumour was removed from my diaphragm (on the lung side).

Two years later and I’m happy and relaxed and not on any treatment or medication. I was first diagnosed with Stage 3C HGSOC in September 2007 and have had 2 recurrences, firstly in 2010 and more recently in 2018.

I like to share my story to give hope to others, especially those newly diagnosed or recently in recurrence.

Today I’m having a quiet celebration.”
